Ludzas town Festival

Ludzas town Festival usually occurs in the beginning of August and lasts for several days. Harvesting festival will be on the 8th- 10th of August on this year.

For the Ludzas town Festival celebration many former Ludza residents, friends, relatives and guests from other countries come together.

Town celebration offers on entertainments for everybody: on the beach of small Ludza lake Radziņā – beach volleyball, football, handball, skill games for kids, chess and many other things for sports fans; artists and home music concerts, raft rides, museum and art school exhibitions, delicacies, ancient tradition day in crafts centre, environmental workshops and entertainment for children and the popular children’s and young people’s pop music festival “Solar rain in Latgale” (“Saules lietus Latgalē”).

In the celebration we will seek sun on the faces and in the hearts.
