Organization from Holland sends presents to the clients of the social care centre “Ludza”

Institutions, organizations and people of Ludza Municipality have repeatedly received presents from the friends in Holland – from the organization “Stichting Hulp Lettland” (“Help Foundation for Latvia”).

In 2016 and this year, beautiful presents were received by the clients of the social care centre of Ludza municipality “Ludza”. Last year, during the Easter event each client got nice bath towels (350 euro were spent for the purchase of towels).

However, Christmas donation of 500 euro from the organization “Stichting Hulp Lettland” was used for the purchase of cosmetics and hygiene products for each client of the centre individually (according to their wishes and needs). This was a very aromatic Christmas since a lot of presents contained perfumery. Thanks to our friends from Holland!

This year the social care centre “Ludza” received a 500 euro donation, which was spent for purchase of warm blankets for the clients of the centre. They were presented at the Easter event.

– On behalf of the clients and personnel of the social care centre “Ludza”, I express a great gratitude to the organization “Stichting Hulp Lettland” and the representative of the foundation in Latvia Viktors Satibaldijevs for their work, heart warmth and care that they have devoted to us. Your generosity and care will keep our clients warm both practically and soulfully, – director of the centre says.

Cooperation of “Stichting Hulp Lettland” with the firefighters and policemen of Latvia started in 1993. Ludza started friendship with this help foundation from personal contacts in 2000. Cooperation of Ludza Municipality with the organization “Stichting Hulp Lettland” is coordinated by Viktors Satibaldijevs. He says that within the horizon of the foundation there are several institutions of our municipality, churches, and poor families, which have received presents from the Dutch already before.
